Ravenwood Herald is a blog that is a fan-made site for the online role-playing game Wizard 101. We have tried to make The Ravenwood Herald a sort of newsletter that contains tips and
walk-throughs as posts. Every week we will add a new post, which may be a quest walk-through complete with tips, helpful details and more! Once a month we will publish a post that focuses on a particular School of Magic instead of a normal post. The motive behind this is to demonstrate dueling strategies (which come from the opinions and experiences of actual wizards), when the best time is to use certain spells, and to review quests that may be difficult for a certain type of wizard to complete and provide feedback. Every weekly post also comes included with pictures that which serve different purposes.
Every month we will also provide updates in our Update section concerning life in Wizard City and Patches being made on the game, so be sure to check for the local wizard news! We also encourage kids to ask questions about game-play and aspects of the game that they may not understand, and remember, there's no such thing as a stupid question. If you are concerned about comments that other wizards may make, please read our Safety section at the bottom of the page.
About the Editor:
The editor and sole author of The Ravenwood Herald is an Adept Pyromancer named Blaze Wyrm. His favorite spell that he has learned so far is Heckhound, but his favorite creature from the entire game is the Level Six Balance spell, Hydra. His only pet is a Heckhound that he named Roxy for reasons unknown even to him. He is currently in the Krokosphinx in Krokotopia, and has just finished learning Meteor Shower and Power Play.
Blaze enjoys sitting quietly in his study and musing, reading old, musty books about the history of magic, updating The Ravenwood Herald, and annihilating low-level Ice creatures with a Fire Sword-Fire Trap-Meteor Shower combo. In practice Player-versus-Player matches he uses this same strategy several times after casting Power Play, occasionally using Pixie and Link to heal. He usually looks for Health and Power Pip Chance bonuses in wizard clothing when shopping at the Bazaar. His plans for the future are to buy a Wooded Cottage castle without using Crowns or gold bought with Crowns.
As a side note, the editor would like to thank Daniel for doing all the awesome stuff with the pictures on photoshop for the title screen, something the editor is horrible at.

We promise a safe environment in which any Wizard can enjoy themselves, in our ad-free, carefully protected web page. Our comment policy goes as follows:- Only members of this site may comment on posts or ask questions.
- Any obscene, or hateful comments will be instantly deleted once detected. This includes cursing and any racist or sexist comments, and any comments that are liable for report on the Blogger website.
- All comments thereafter made by anyone who has made one of the above comments will be instantly deleted once detected.
- comments that are deemed "questionable" will be deleted, and the person who made the comment will be notified and given a warning.
